About Sarah Shoemaker 

Sarah Shoemaker has spent many years supporting birthing families, first as a birth doula, then as a prenatal educator and L&D RN, and now as a certified nurse midwife for the last three years.

Sarah is honored to be one of the nurse midwives joining Advanced Women’s Healthcare and is looking forward to working with the women of Bloomington and surrounding communities. She offers prenatal care, well woman visits, birth control, as well as problem-based women’s health visits. 

Sarah lives in Champaign with her husband, 3 children, and dog, Denali. When she’s not working, she also enjoys reading, doing puzzles, traveling, trying new foods, and seeing musicals.
